Safa privacy policy
Safa is made by HMDFV Inc. This policy covers the installed Safa apps and the web player.
The installed apps
The Mac App Store and iPhone apps do not collect personal data, create accounts, include advertising, or send listening activity to us. Sounds and fonts are bundled with the app. Your chosen settings and timers stay on your device.
Optional features
Break reminders use local notifications and ask for permission when you enable them. Audio routing through AirPlay is handled by Apple’s system services. Safa does not use your microphone, camera, contacts, or location.
Updates
The Mac App Store version updates through Apple. A separately downloaded Mac version may check its update service, which receives the app version, operating-system version, and normal network request information.
The web player
The web player loads sound files from this website and saves only your language preference in this browser. Vercel hosts the website and provides aggregate traffic measurements. It processes standard web request information, including requests for sound files. We do not associate these requests with a Safa account.
Your choices
You can clear the browser’s saved language preference in its site-data settings. The installed apps’ preferences are stored locally. If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to answer your request.
