How Rami takes on advisory work
Advisory time is mostly committed through three channels:
- Antler — As a Venture Partner in Canada, Rami works with pre-team and pre-idea founders during Antler residencies. This is the highest-volume founder contact channel.
- Mila — As a Founder in Residence, Rami works with founders translating Mila research into shipped products.
- Invest Ottawa — As an advisor, Rami runs office hours through Invest Ottawa programming.
Selective angel involvement happens through warm intro only — usually from one of those three.
Best fit
- AI-native consumer or digital-health products.
- Wearables, sports tech, behavior change.
- Canadian founders building for global markets.
- Operators thinking through founder operations, autonomous systems, or gradual AI rollouts.
Worst fit
- AI infrastructure plays competing directly with frontier labs.
- Pre-revenue ideas without a clear user surface.
- Anything where a founder is looking for a name on a deck rather than an active operator.
