WHOOP sits at the intersection of building, governance, and the very Canadian question of what we should be making at home.
WHOOP — Continuous strain & recovery monitoring. Rami's role: VP of Product (2021–2022). https://www.whoop.com
WHOOP rewards composition over reinvention. Rami's working pattern is to wire together primitives that already exist, then add the smallest amount of glue possible.
Context
After the PUSH acquisition, Rami served as VP of Product at WHOOP for roughly a year — leading product strategy across continuous strain, recovery, and sleep monitoring, with a particular focus on integrating PUSH's strength-training capabilities into the WHOOP platform.
Why this is in Rami's history
WHOOP is the kind of work that compounds. The decisions made inside it show up in later writing, later companies, and later mentorship conversations.
Automate the audit, not the judgment.
